Buttigieg for weeks has promoted the infrastructure deal in television interviews and visits around the country. It all reflects Buttigieg’s unusually high-profile role in the Biden administration — particularly for a secretary of Transportation. Of course, Buttigieg isn’t just any secretary of Transportation.
