OKLAHOMA CITY — Ongoing construction projects in Oklahoma City's Britton District are causing significant traffic disruptions and affecting local businesses.
"It's kind of like I'm standing around, twiddling my thumbs, waiting for people to walk in," Donovan Funk, lead barista at Zero Tolerance Coffee, said.
Cones, closures and continued construction have been the reality for drivers and local businesses in the Britton District for months.
"This was supposed to take about two months, and two months have passed, and now they’re just adding more construction to it," Funk said.
