ENID, Okla. — Oklahoma Department of Transportation is seeking public comments on proposed improvements to U.S. 412 and U.S. 81 in Enid.
The three projects would see work on U.S. 412 from U.S. 81 to 30th; U.S. 412 from Garland to U.S. 81; and on U.S. 81 from Maine to Oak and the intersection of U.S 412 and U.S. 81.
“The primary purpose of the three projects is to rehabilitate the concrete pavement along U.S. 412 from Garland Road to 30th Street and along U.S. 81 from Maine Street to Oak Avenue,” the project overview on ODOT’s website reads. “The projects also include improvements for drainage, traffic operations at intersections, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant sidewalks, and grade corrections at railroad track crossings.”
As part of the information efforts, ODOT is hosting a virtual open house detailing the project at www.odot.org/US412Enid. The open house will continue through March 4, 2024, which is the same time period for public comments. The website includes an interactive map of the projects.
