Flock cameras debate continues with ODOT asking cities to remove cameras from ODOT roads

PRYOR CREEK, Okla. — The debate over Flock cameras continues with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation asking cities to remove the cameras from ODOT roads.

Since putting up license plate readers in 2023, the Pryor Creek Police Department has used them to solve several crimes.

“It’s about public safety. Just in the last two weeks, we were able to solve a series of car burglaries here in town,” Pryor Creek Police Chief Jeremy Cantrell said.
