On Tuesday night, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation started a construction project on northbound Interstate 235, closing lanes to allow workers access to the bridge joints where the highway crosses Sheridan and Reno avenues, as well as the Union Pacific Railroad. The closure is expected to last until July.

Northbound I-235 from Interstate 40 to Sheridan Avenue is narrowed to two lanes, and several on-ramps and exits will be closed.
