ODOT breaks ground for new interchange project dedicated to Sen. Jim Inhofe

OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) will soon be embarking on its most expensive project yet in honor of former US Senator Jim Inhofe.

City officials broke ground on Tuesday for the new I-40 Douglas Interchange.

It's the largest contract in ODOT history, with $170 million being used to redo the interchange to help make it safer.
