Making roads safer – a new detection system which tells drivers when they’re going in the wrong way is being tested on highways in eastern Oklahoma.
This the first time this system has been used in Oklahoma. Thermal imaging cameras see when a car is getting on the highway in the wrong direction and trigger red lights on the sign to flash and tell the driver they’ve made a mistake.
