Oklahoma City Mayor reacts to infrastructure bill passage

OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) - The more than $1 trillion infrastructure bill awaits President Biden’s stamp of approval.

While all five House members from Oklahoma opposed the bill, Republican Mayor David Holt is a strong supporter.

In a city as geographically large as Oklahoma City, Mayor Holt said money for the upkeep is essential.

“Infrastructure is the first priority of any elected official, and it’s always something you have to stay on top of," Mayor Holt said. "You can’t just build all of this stuff and then walk away. It has to be maintained.”
