Construction on the first two phases of Oklahoma City's MAPS-4 sidewalk project is underway, with plans to build over 35 sidewalks and improve pedestrian access across the city by 2031.

OKLAHOMA CITY - Construction on the first two phases of MAPS-4 sidewalk projects is now underway across Oklahoma City. City leaders have announced that the funds will be used to build more than 35 new sidewalks, with additional projects planned through 2031.

Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt discussed the significance of the project, particularly for South Oklahoma City.
