Oklahoma's focus in first year of infrastructure bill should be roads, bridges, group says


In the first year of a five-year plan, Oklahoma expects to get $850 million. KOCO News 5 ABC By KOCO Staff November 17, 2021 OKLAHOMA CITY —President Joe Biden recently passed an infrastructure bill that promises to bring billions of dollars of funding to Oklahoma. The Association of Oklahoma General Contractors said the focus in the first year should be to address the issues with Oklahoma's roads and bridges. "Not only is our pavement conditions poor, but we need to widen some of these rural roads as well. These additional dollars can help with that," said Bobby Stem, with the Association of Oklahoma General Contractors.
