By James King November 10, 2021 One trillion dollars will make its way across the country following the passing of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, but what does that mean for Oklahoma’s highways? “If you look at the projected apportionment under the new highway bill that was a part of the infrastructure bill we’re looking at probably about $840 million,” said Oklahoma Transportation Secretary, Tim Gatz. “So its additional investment revenues.” According to White House estimates, just over $4 billion over five years for highway repairs and construction. Gatz says that’s the money that they count on to continue to carry out their eight-year construction work plan.
