TULSA, Okla. -- The Oklahoma Department of Transportation will host the second round of in-person, open house public meetings to discuss the next phase of the U.S. 412 Planning and Environmental Linkages Study. ODOT is working jointly with the Arkansas Department of Transportation on the U.S. with plans on turning U.S. 412 into an interstate.
The Planning and Environmental Linkages Study is focused on:
Addressing Congressionally mandated legislation to convert U.S. 412 to an Interstate.
Improving safety for all travelers on U.S. 412.
Enhancing mobility and improving system and travel time reliability.
Enhancing system linkage by connecting rural and urban communities, national airports and inland ports, and freight supply chains.
