Zach Rael, Anchor/Reporter June 9, 2022 OKLAHOMA CITY —Authorities have called a special meeting for Oklahoma turnpike leaders to discuss the controversial turnpike expansion plan. The special Oklahoma Turnpike Authority meeting isn't part of the board's regular schedule. The agenda says the meeting will deal with the ACCESS Oklahoma expansion plan, which is the agency's 15-year plan to expand the state's toll highways. The board will address authorizing the termination of a $200 million line of credit passed during a meeting in May. It also will discuss approving $5 billion in bonds to finance ACCESS Oklahoma projects.
