EDMOND — Traffic jams along Interstate 35 soon will be addressed by two projects worth $44.5 million.
City council members voted this week to contribute $4 million to Oklahoma Department of Transportation projects set to start in 2024 that will address motorists' problems getting on or off I-35 at 33rd, 15th and Second streets.
The projects will include adding "Texas turnarounds," additional lanes and converting I-35 access roads to one way.
Mayor Darrell Davis thanked council members and the city's staff for supporting "a good thing for our residents." View the full artice: Oklahoman, com
