BRIDGEPORT, Okla. (KFOR) – As the hazy mists of time lift slowly from the bottomlands along the South Canadian River, historians and fans of the old Mother Road are getting their first looks at the steel work placed by 1930s construction crews.
More than 70 surviving truss panels are now sandblasted, re-coated, and ready for installation as one of the last phases of a historic rebuild.
