Tulsa's Boston Avenue bridge begins $3.5M renovation, preserving 'Center of the Universe'

TULSA, OKLA. (KTUL) — Some long-awaited renovations are set to begin on Monday for Tulsa's Boston Avenue bridge at the Center of the Universe.

This landmark located between East First St and East Archer St. will cost over $3.5 million for repairs, with two phases of construction.

We spoke with Josh White, the construction manager with the City of Tulsa about the first phase happening at the bottom of the bridge which would take about 4 months to complete.
