Updates given regarding the ongoing Lawton road construction

LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) - Construction projects have been on-going for the past several months in Lawton whether it’s a main road or intersection, but the big question is how long before it’s all finished.

Lawton Public Utilities Director Rusty Whisenhunt is the one overseeing the construction on Cache Road and he believes the project is estimated to extend between late April and early May.

While Kalie Eldridge public information officer at ODOT stated that Rogers Lane is on track for mid winter, around February.

“This project was a 18 month construction time period and it’s still on schedule unless we have some major weather events,” Whisnehut said. “We should be able to finish in that April time period.”
