A clip showing the difference between the highways in Kansas and Oklahoma is getting quite a bit of attention online.
While I’ve never been to Kansas, I’ve been to Oklahoma many times. And it’s impossible not to notice just how much better the roads are here in Texas.
It’s always puzzled me because the stretch of I-44 here in the Lone Star State isn’t a toll road, unlike the stretch in Oklahoma. I feel like if I’m expected to pay to drive on a highway it better be top notch.
But I will say this – the stretch of I-44 when you cross into Oklahoma is way better than the stretch of I-35 when crossing into the Sooner State from Kansas. It’s insane how rough the road is the second you cross the state line.
