Several Oklahoma leaders discussed challenges of infrastructure and growth across the central Oklahoma region Wednesday at the second annual State of the Region event, hosted by the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber.
Regional leaders from 10 counties gathered at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum to discuss key challenges, progress and development in the region, shedding light on challenges ahead as population growth creates more infrastructure needs inside and outside of central Oklahoma.
"This is the fastest-growing region for labor and population growth," said Jeff Seymour, executive vice president of economic development for the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber. "Oklahoma is poised for growth."
